Technology Integration for Disaster Response. Methods in the California FIRIS Fusion Center
The State of California''s Fire Integrated Real-time Intelligence System (FIRIS) is a program that provides 2 aircraft staged 24x7 to respond to emerging disasters on initial attack and provide data in real-time from the air. This talk describes the FIRIS Fusion Center process for monitoring, modeling, and integrating data on these incidents, and describes best practices for integration of established and new technologies.
